Tested & compliant as a TYPE X (special fire – resistant) board as defined within ASTM C1396. With a toughened high density core with higher breaking loads and impact indentation resistance, this boards provides excellent load capacity making it the perfect board for heavy traffic and public areas that are subject to high levels of humidity or moisture.
Field of Application
Knauf GB-WRTX Type X IMPACT board can be installed in all standard drywall constructions. It’s installed as a cladding component for:
