Gyproc FireStop MR consists of an aerated gypsum core with glass fibre and water repellent additives encased in, and firmly bonded to, strong moisture resistant paperliners that are pink in colour. Gyproc FireStop MR is a plasterboard that is suitable for drylining internal surfaces.
Gyproc Fire Stop with water repellent addictive in core, is used in Gyproc wall lining and partitioning systems where both fire protection and moisture resistance is required.

Characteristics
Gypsum plasterboard with glass fiber and other additives in the core. Gyproc firestop consist of an aerated gypsum core with glass fiber and other additives encased in, and firmly bonded to strong paper liners. Gyproc fiber stop is a plasterboard that is suitable for drylining internal surfaces.
Applications
Used in gyproc partition, wall lining and ceiling systems to give increased fire protection. Also used protection to structural steel.

GYPROC FIRESTRIP

Description
Gyproc FireStrip is a soft extruded linear gap seal introduced for use within Gyproc partition deflection head details. When exposed to flames and heat, Gyproc FireStrip undergoes controlled expansion or intumescence reacting to form a carbonised foam. This char resists the passage of smoke and flames and helps to insulate the metal channel beneath. Gyproc FireStrip is supplied in 3.6m rolls and is simply applied by hand before fixing the Gypframe head channel assembly to the soffit.
Field of Application
Suitable for use with Gypframe metal for fire rated systems. Gyproc FireStrip is used where the soffit shows signs of undulation or small gaps, cracks or holes appear in the substrate.
