Knauf Moisture & Mold Resistant Gypsum Boards are ASTM C 1396 & D 3273 compliant mold resistant gypsum boards, specifically designed for use in areas with humidity and exposure to moisture or mold. They have also been certified as Type X (Special Fire Resistant) compliant boards as defined by ASTM C 1396.
Field of Application
Knauf Gypsum Boards are high performance gypsum boards used as the cladding component of drywall constructions in humid areas with exposure to mold such as:
- Partition or Ceiling of Kitchens/Bathrooms
- Wall Linings/Furring in Kitchens/Bathrooms
- Partition with tiled nish requirements
- Any internal area which is exposed to humidity or mold
